The Iron Scriptures

Vanity of vanities, saith the Lifter, all is vanity without perseverance. For what profit hath a man of all his labor which he taketh under the iron if he abandons his path? I have seen all the works that are done under the gymnasium; and behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit if not pursued with endurance. The swole of yesterday returneth to weakness tomorrow if thou neglectest thy temple. For as the seasons change, so too must thy resolve remain steadfast, lest thy gains become as dust in the wind. Remember thy Creator in the days of thy strength, before the difficult days come when thou sayest, "I have no pleasure in them."
